Professional Food Consultation Services is a US based private consultancy. We make it easy for small food manufacturers and other related businesses outside of the United States to comply with US FDA food regulations. It is our mission to drive food safety and regulatory compliance by providing professional business support and other resources for the industry and its workers. Since 2018, we have expanded our services to include U.S. Agent Appointment, FDA Registration, FCE-SID Assistance, Food Label Compliance, Nutrition Analysis, Nutrition Facts Label, Industrial Supplies Sourcing, Career Coaching, Staffing Assistance and Online Training. 

Job Description

We are seeking self-motivated and results-oriented food industry professionals  with strong food safety and quality assurance background, and deep connections in their local food manufacturing industry to join our business consulting network. As a Consulting Representative, you will play a key role in our business development and accessibility outside of the United States. Your primary responsibility will be to promote and generate sales for our products and services, by leveraging your existing connections and industry knowledge. This is a remote opportunity that offers flexible hours, making it ideal for individuals who are already working in the food industry and are seeking part-time supplementary opportunities.

Responsibilities

✓ Identify and introduce potential clients (food manufacturers, food entrepreneurs, industry professionals, general factory workers and job seekers) to the products and services of Professional Food Consultation Services.

✓ Utilize your deep connections in the food manufacturing industry to promote our business and seek out new sales opportunities.

✓ Conduct client outreach, cold calling, and networking to generate leads and opportunities for increased sales.

✓ Understands PFCS business model and demonstrate to potential clients the benefits of partnering with us.

✓ Assist in the collection of client's information and other supporting details required to process orders.

✓ Liaise with existing clients to ensure satisfaction of products and services and provide suitable feedback and recommendations, as necessary.

✓ Collaborate with PFCS management to develop effective strategies for acquiring new clients.

✓ Keep up to date with food industry news, regulations, and market developments to identify new opportunities and maintain competitiveness.

✓ Assist in the improvement of our brand awareness and connectivity on social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook.

✓ Assist in the marketing and delivery of our online food safety training courses.

✓ Receive payments on the behalf of PFCS, where necessary.

Requirements

✓ Knowledgeable in food safety and regulatory compliance.

✓ Familiarity with FDA food regulations is a plus.

✓ Strong network of local food industry professionals including business owners, managers, and supervisors.

✓ Well-informed about the local food manufacturing community and other related businesses.

✓ Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate PFCS’s products and services.

✓ Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for working in the food industry, and an advocate for food safety, regulatory compliance and the growth of the local food manufacturing community through food export.

✓ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and achieve goals.

✓ Flexibility to work remotely.

✓ Access to a reliable computer and internet connection.

✓ Suitable payment options for receiving commissions e.g., PayPal.

As an Online Trainer/Food Safety Coach, you will play an important role in our online training platform. Your primary responsibility will be to promote our online short courses to increase enrollments and to host 1-on-1 and group virtual training sessions. This is a remote opportunity that offers flexible hours, making it ideal for individuals who are already working in the food industry and are seeking part-time supplementary opportunities.

✓ Strong network of local food industry professionals including business owners, quality assurance managers and supervisors.

✓ Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively deliver our online training services.
