Devi Yankataso is well-known in the food industry for her work in food safety, quality assurance, and training. Devi brings over 20 years of industry experience and has worked in various capacities in the field. She believes in hands-on experience, tactical skills, and dialogue for the success of food facilities. Devi has worked in leadership roles during her tenure and continues to build capacity in the food sector through training and development.
Devi is associated with several International Certification Bodies, including the American Society for Quality (ASQ), the Produce Safety Alliance (PSA), the Food Safety Preventive Control Alliance (FSPCA), The HACCP Alliance, and the Seafood HACCP Alliance. Devi believes in building relationships based on openness, knowledge sharing, and creating continuous trust in food manufacturing processes and practices. She is dedicated to staying abreast of food regulations to support customers and small businesses to mitigate food safety risks and improve the overall safety and quality of the food supply chain. Devi holds a Master of Science degree in Agri-Food Safety and Quality Assurance from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad & Tobago. She also earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health from the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom. She is a Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) and an approved FSPCA Lead Instructor (LI) for Preventive Control for Human Food (PCHF), Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), and a trainer for Produce Safety Alliance.

María Chiquillo graduated as a Food Engineer from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Colombia. She then specialized in Food Safety and Quality at UPTC in Colombia and earned a Master's Degree in Food Safety Sanitary Programs from UCI in Costa Rica. Since 2010, María has worked in various sectors of the food and beverage industry, where she provided food safety oversight for caterers and food transport services. She has since transitioned to offering consulting services to different food export companies.
As a consultant, María has assisted many food businesses in developing and implementing food safety plans related to standards such as the FDA's Preventive Controls for Human Food, FSSC, HACCP, and GMP. She focuses on teaching essential tools and practices that enable companies to address gaps in their systems and prepare confidently for audits from customers and government entities.
